What To Expect

During our initial sessions, our goal is to create a personalized experience with a treatment plan designed based on the specific needs identified by the client, their family members and the Speech Language Pathologist during the initial assessment. We will determine areas of strength and weakness, set goals, and answer any questions you may have.

Subsequent sessions will focus on treatment, strategy development and suggestions for home practice. The treatment session lengths may vary depending on the client, however they typically include 45 minutes of direct treatment. Topics are set based on the interests of clients in order to maximize engagement and increase success. The specific number of sessions recommended will vary from patient to patient and depend on factors such as the amount of progression during sessions and family involvement.
